7th World of Lingua Anniversary [CLOSED]

As it is March 7th...

We'd love to celebrate a bit, considering this day is the 7th Anniversary of the Paralogos and (and by association) Whiffling Species!

mewhaku (Mew, aka me) would like to give back a little bit and hand out some gifts to celebrate the species!

In honor of the anniversary, and our site growing so large, we've made a 7th Anniversary Memento. This can be claimed (if you didn't already enter the raffle) via the Claims feature.

The reward of 7 ink and caps per entrant will be rewarded alongside the 7th Anniversary Memento as part of that grant. So thank you for your patience! And thank you all for coming together to make this group and site what it is... a personal note from my (mewhaku) heart, I am so thankful for each and every one of you. Truly. ;_;

The Prizes for this Raffle will be the following:

  1. First Place Wins: 1 Free Custom Paralogos or Whiffling Design between levels 1-6 or Common - Uncommon - Rare from mewhaku
  2. Second Place Wins: 1 Free Custom Paralogos or Whiffling Design between levels 1-3 or Common - Uncommon from mewhaku
  3. Third Place Wins: 1 Free Shaded Fullbody Character Artwork (Preferably a Paralogos but can also be Whiffling, or another feral species/fantasy character) from mewhaku
  4. Fourth Place Wins: The same as third place!
  5. Fifth Place Wins: 1 Free Shaded Headshot Character Artwork from mewhaku
  6. Sixth Place Wins: The same as fifth place!
  7. All other participants: Get 7 Ink and 7 Caps for entering the raffle! and All Participants will earn a special Collectible/Memento in honor of the 7th Anniversary.

To take a look at the various examples of mewhaku's work, check her DeviantArt Gallery! (Though she'll be the first to admit she has a massive backlog of stuff to upload.) *Also any Whiffling Customs will get 1* free Fae or Devilish trait, you can add additional potions as well.

How to Earn Tickets

  2. Mention your favorite memory of your time with the Paralogos OR Whiffling species! (If you only recently joined, feel free to share something you're excited about for the species or its world!) (+1 Ticket)
  3. Advertise this raffle in up to 3 locations, with a link to this post! (Up to +3 Tickets)

Hello! I would like to enter the raffle!

So far while my time hasn't been long is how happy everyone was when I adopted Roll (idk what to name them still help) and listened to me talk about how I think they would be!

Helloooo, I'd like to enter please :D
One of my fondest memories in the group is probably the lost records event, I had so much fun participating and managed to get my beloved Wolpetinger from said event!! Though safe to say every moment I've had in the group is a wonderful one, WoL has always had a soft spot in my heart ever since I joined and I cannot wait for many years more in the group :]

I would love to enter this raffle!
Picking a favorite memory is kinda hard honestly. This group has such a warm place in my heart. This year, I'd like to remember the sense of accomplishment I felt while developing and designing logos and whiffs! With that I've also had a lot of fun with the achievements system and working on gift art drops for folk via discord ^ ^

I'd like to enter the raffle, please!

I'm still fairly new to the site and the ARPG, but I'm really excited about the prospect of creating new characters and developing them via the wisdom and magic prompts. Outside of World of Lingua, I really only have dragon and equine characters (what happens when you hyperfixate on those two species, I guess :P). So owning Paralogos will help me expand my art talents as well as provide me much needed practice on creating other types of characters, including humans (gasp!)

Currently my favorite memory would be participating in the February gift exchange event last month. It was wonderful seeing all the art unveiled and reading everyone's reactions.

I'd like to enter the raffle please!

My favorite memory was probably the Rogue Village event, it was really nice to watch everyone form their own little stories and bonds with the Paralogos there. From the admin perspective it must have been really draining to write so many roleplay posts, but they handled it admirably with tons of personality and character coming through! Honestly I still have the thread with Sigrid and Guerrilla in my bookmarks so that I can reread it from time to time.
