Puffin Magic: Tier 2
Practically sweating with the effort, Fratercula pulled himself up the cliffside. The waves crashed against the sheer rocks, seeming to be endless in its battering of the land. Cold spray flecked upon his body, but he didn't feel them at all against his soft, waterproof feathers.
Something had pulled him to this spot, and he couldn't resist the call of adventure!
It felt like forever to him, but finally he spotted something... black? No, white? No, black and white! A small black and white shape, halfway up the cliff's face. He could hear it calling out, a rough honk that was like nothing he'd heard before. But as he got closer, it suddenly seemed to pull at a spot in his brain.
"Hey, you bright-beak! Stop hogging all the fish!"
"Ar, it wouldn't be such a problem if you kept stealin' 'em the second I pulled 'em ashore!"
Fratercula was fascinated by the squabbling birds, and almost forgot that their conversation was broadcast to no one but him...
