Miniature originally a harpy
I modeled the front, back, neck and head feathers + the beak to make it less humanoid and more birdlike. Then i painted the mini trying to stay true to the reference picture but also real-life European jays. After i painted the miniature i washed it to give it a more shaded, realistic look c:
