This basically came to me in a feavered dream.

To ?explain?: they accidentally made a beach here once in a river. I'm in the middle of the Canadian prairies so it became beloved because everyone was desperate for a beach. We also have no concept of when to go to a beach as a result, so it was just Beach All The Time.
I think it's gone now but WE REMEMBER YOU, ACCIDENTAL BEACH!!!

Combined with the state of Lingua's nature Buddy felt like the right mascot for this. It's the energy. Go to the potentially hazerdous beaqch in fall you'll be fine.
